Robin Western Catering Equipments and Stephen Hewitt has completed the acquisition of design catering equipment, for an undisclosed sum.
Two transactions financed with their own money from the NatWest debt and working capital financing.
The company was founded in 1990, has 23 employees at its headquarters and offices in Stockport Saffron Walden, Essex.
It offers some of the UK’s largest construction companies, including Balfour Beatty, Bovis Lend Lease, Interserve Project Services, Morgan Sindall Wilmot Dixon conducted a large-scale construction projects.
Robin and Stephen held senior management positions in the company for 17 years and 10 years respectively.
Robin, who is the manager of the contract, contract Director Stephen moved from the role of design management and business development, Sales Director.
The company has completed more than 400 projects in schools and colleges, alone, in the past three years, including 20 sites involved in the design, supply and installation of a new kitchen and service throughout Manchester worth £ 3.8 m contract .
Robin said: “This is a long-held ambition to Stephen and myself took over the business, once Paul and Joanne have expressed their desire to retire.
“We are working closely for a long period of time, developed into what it is today, we see very much a logical development for the company’s business.
